A bodega on a small dot in the middle of the ocean?  This vast space is heaven for wine lovers.  The wine library houses over 250 labels from all over the world, with a capacity for 8,000 bottles. There are regular curated wine tastings – or you could host your own – accompanied by artisanal cheeses and charcuterie.

SULTANS VILLAGE KIDS CLUB

This delightful space has a playground and shallow wading pool in its own fenced sand garden, as well as a clubhouse overflowing with toys, books and games.  The cheery team deserves accolades for their inventive schedule of activities, from round-the-island pirate treasure hunts to make-your-own-pizza to snorkelling trips in the company of our marine biologist sporting shimmering mermaid fishtail.

JAVVU SPA

The Javvu spa at Amilla Fushi Resort in the Maldives is made up of 10 wooden double treatment pods with either a sauna or a steam room, a relaxing tea lounge, a wet area which includes a no-bookings required sauna and steam room. A wonderful spacious outdoor yoga and meditation pavilion is also available for guests.

The Emperor Beach Club is Amilla’s epicentre of fun and games for guests of all ages. BLUE HOLE

Nestled within Amilla Fushi’s house reef and easily accessible by speed boat or a quick swim, the Blue Hole provides a spectacular and unique underwater experience for everyone.

HANIFARU BAY

Hanifaru Bay is a marine protected, uninhabited area that is located in the core area of the Biosphere Reserve in Baa Atoll, which has long been famous for being one of the best spots for underwater photographers and diving enthusiasts. Especially during the west monsoon season from May until November, large concentration of plankton gets trapped in the funnel like lagoon, as it washes over the corals and just sits on the surface. When that happens, it attracts large groups of manta rays and whale sharks. Over the years, Hanifaru Bay has become one of the world’s largest manta ray feeding destinations.

REEF HOPPING

This experience offers snorkeling at its best for underwater aficionados. Join experienced team of guides as they handpick a duo of reefs based on the current conditions – you’ll be amazed at the incredible fish life that the Maldives is famous for. This excursion comprises two separate snorkel sites, giving you an insight as to why the Baa Atoll has been achieved its UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status.

TURTLE SAFARI

Turtles are one of the nature’s toughest survivors and, within this area of Baa atoll; Amilla Fushi Maldives is  lucky enough to support one of the largest populations of hawksbill turtles in the Maldives. This experience is conducted at a nearby reef, where you’ll have a good chance to swim alongside these curious creatures, led by our Marine Biologist. The excursion is complemented with a briefing on how to identify turtles and an explanation on the current status of turtles around the world. DOLPHIN CRUISE

TRANSFER

A tiny less-than-one-kilometre-long jewel of an island, Amilla Fushi rises on the edge of the Baa Atoll, home to some of the richest waters in the Maldives and a biosphere reserve protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2011.

Reach by seaplane in just 30 minutes from Malé International Airport or take a 15 minute flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll followed by a short 10 minute speedboat ride to AmillaFushi Maldives Beach Resort.
